The story of Esther from the bible is a fantastic story for children to learn. It teaches children obedience, faith in God and patience. This is a craft that I used when we learned about this story at church. The sheets that go with this craft project can be found and printed out at www.coloringpagespot.com .

These are the Esther parts cut out from the Esther story puppet sheets. You can print and cut out these, or make your own with this as a reference.
Have your child glue on the dress first,
Then glue on the hair and the crown.
Your child can then decorate the clothes as they wish to and add a face to their puppets. Glitter, sequins or little bits of fabric can also be used in this step.
Here are two of the puppets from the Esther story, Esther and Mordecai all cut out and mounted onto Popsicle sticks. (The print out includes a beard for Mordecai but my daughter never put it on.) Time to act out an Esther story play!
